• emulsifying ointment ( ue) topical prn

If no response within 7 days / more severe eczema

• Advise: avoid soap. Use soap substitutes such as aqueous cream
• aqueous cream (uea) topical prn
• emulsifying ointment ( ue) topical prn
• hydrocortisone 1% cream topically bd x 7/7 (if response - once daily for few days)

Question 3

Step 3 script for eczema

Answer 3

Betamethasone 0,1% ointment daily + 7/7.
