Systemic symptoms (malignant)
Secondary RFs ( HIV, cancer)
Neurological symptoms/signs (sol/intracranial bleed/stroke)
Onset sudden/ after recent head trauma < 3 months
Older: new onset /progressive pain (>50 - GCA )
Previous history: first time/ change in pattern
Precipitated by Valsalva
Papilloedema, other eye symptoms (intracranial lesion/bleed/ stroke / raised IcP / meningitis)
Postural aggravation, pain (tender) @ temporal region + jaw claudication (temporal arteritis)
