procedure for applying one knee high stocking
- Explain to Suzy who you are & what you’re going to do
-hand sanitizer
-privacy
-make sure Suzy is laying down (supine)
-make sure the bed is locked (not low)
-lift sheet no further than needed
-turn stocking inside out but stop at the heel
-stretch fabric
-keeping toes loose and aligning the heel (using gentle movements)
-stretch out to wrinkle-free (if using a mannequin, say that it would be wrinkle-free on a live person)
-signal device
-low and locked bed
-remove privacy

Cleaning dentures procedure
- wash hands
-put on clean gloves
-line the bottom of the sink with a towel (or partially fill it with water)
-turn on the water
-open dentures
-apply toothpaste to brush
-put the toothpaste back where you found it
-pick up dentures
-rinse dentures
-brush brush brush
-rinse dentures
-rinse and put down the toothbrush
-rinse out the inside of the cup
-put dentures in
-fill the cup with water
-rinse lid
-put the lid on
-turn off the sink
-remove the liner and dispose appropriately
-NO TOUCH TECHNIQUE take off gloves
-dispose
