Speed
the amount of time it takes
to move to certain stimuli.
Reaction time
Refer to movements moving from one place to another place
Locomotor movements
Movements consist of normal and steady actions
Even rhythm movements
consist of unequal actions and incorporate alternating actions
Uneven rhythm movements
movements using the body in a stationary position
Non locomotor movements
Stacking our spine and making abdominal muscles deeper as much as possible when you inhale
Bracing the core
Lie down facing upwards with straight arms while pointing upwards and bending knees 90 degrees over the hips
Dead Bug
Raise and extend one’s arm forward at the same time as raising the alternating leg, also brace the core
Bird Dog
90 degree body position, bend elbows pushing the body down, make sure butt is not pointed and follows the body going down
Push ups
Do not bend the elbows, pull the shoulder blades together toward the spine
Scapular Protraction and Retraction
