Female pubic arch- greater than 90 degrees, male pubic arch less than 90 degrees
Female pelvic brim- more of an oval shape, male pelvic brim- a heart-like shape

A
  1. Protect the internal organs
  2. Providing support by acting as a structural framework and a point of attachment for ligaments and tendons
  3. Assists with body movements
  4. Stores and releases salts of calcium and phosphorus
  5. Houses red bone marrow- which produces blood cells
  6. Stores triglycerides in adipose cells of yellow marrow.
