Psychological is the study of behavioural, cognitive, personality, emotions, and mental health

Sociological is the study of society, relationships, and social behaviour

Totally it encompasses the domain of the 2 areas and its perspective in health science

it is important for dietitians as we need to understand the psychology and sociology of people in relation to food to help address problems
