describe pregnancy related respiratory problems
Transient Tachypnoea of the Newborn
breathing rate of 40-60 usually last for 24-48 hours
risk factors include caesarian section
fluid still in lungs
give xray/ flattened diaphragm, increased interlobar markings
antibiotics and O2 may be given
Pneumothorax
may be secondary to active resuscitation
Congenital: diaphragmatic hernia, tracheoesophageal fistula

Potter’s syndrome is an atypical appearance of an infant (involving club feet, underdeveloped lungs and cranial problems) due to oligohydramnios
