why do you like this farming life
soothing, inspiring
window into another world, opened my eyes to the hardships of farming, apart from this I’d only seen Clarkson farm which shows you the hardships but obviously that show is very funs and also shot in the cotswolds which is a very different farming existence to the outer Hebrides in Scotland! staggeringly hard work, I think it’s great a light is being shone on agriculture bcos it’s so important and so underappreciated
I love how much you see of the importance of family in the show as well, there’s always so much love on the farms
I find the narrator really relaxing
I love seeing the beautiful landscapes
constantly adapting so inspiring, weather brexit
the women on the show are amazing
the shot of the highland coos being herded across the beach
why do you like boiling point
- incredible work place drama that balances the personal lives of the characters so well, balances them perfectly I would say whilst most usual workplace dramas really struggle with this
- even its American equivalent the bear I think doesn’t succeed in making the personal lives as interesting as the kitchen, and that’s one of my favourite shows
- I think its an authentic account of mental health issues, often they’re portrayed in a cliche or unrealistic way whereas I think here it’s done really well, same with the addiction shown
- the restaurant team are like a chosen family
- love the intro music and sequence
- all characters so passionate and also each have their own very well fleshed out problems
why do you like the best show never made
- it was so different and truly fresh to any other unscripted show I’ve ever seen
- I’ve never seen such a creatively shot unscripted show, I thought It was so smart that they made the most of having this group of extroverts who wanted to be on tv doing all this acting and surreal bits and pieces, it made it so interesting
- recreating the flat for the backdrop of the interviews was also so smart I thought, so much more interesting than the standard often fake living room we often see in unscripted
- it balanced the turning point really well across the 3 episodes
- also just so refreshing to see such a happy ending that tied up so many loose ends, I assumed they wouldn’t be able to get nick Russian to come on but they did and hearing his story and his side of it really made the show amazing, it elevated it
- a really special show, weirdly kind of gave me a sense of faith in humanity so positive,
why are you excited for 007 road to a million
- I love an adventure show
- I think it’s so fresh and such a new take on a game show
- Barbara broccoli approves I saw her saying how she believes the show is a great stop gap for people craving the next bond film
