- I’ve been a team leader before on my events waitressing, making sure everyone had the right plate in the right hand knew which table we were going to and in which order we were putting the plates down because it was very formal it was the royal air tattoo

describe yourself. tell me a bit about you
ok well my story is that I was someone who was really interested in film and tv as a viewer during my adolescence and a huge fan which then got me thinking in my late teens that it was something I was interested in
uni English lit spanish cos storytelling culture meant I did year abroad
this fostered my love of it exponentially cos xyzzy so since graduating that’s been my focus and this is what I want to do
why film and telly as ur mode of storytelling then why not publishing and books
to me its simply the best and totally unrivalled
I feel so lucky to live in this age of technology
the scale the detail its the most engrossing form of storytelling its the ultimate way of showing not telling its subtle
I love how it needs so many people
everyone has to bring such different skill sets but all working together to create something immense
why television over film?
because I love it so much I want more and tv gives you more
its more complex you get to know characters or the people in unscripted so much better there’s more ebb and flow
its what I like to watch at home
communal, it’s talked abt, fun to watch w people
the wait for the next season
binge watching
cheaper than cinema
strikes
writers then actors
shame
Hollywood spread
I saw its slowed down the next season of good omens
im also used to strikes though

good written and oral communication, having studied spanish and English lit at uni essays writing optimised writing skills and how to write clearly more than anything
learning to speak really honed my communication because it taught me how to really consider what I was saying in order to convey what I meant which I hope did the same in English
adaptability from year abraod
working as a team at the cinema and waitressing
time management uni
computer literacy too
learning about social media and marketing thru volunteering for film festivals and doing work experience
