Origin: Anterior surface of the medial half of the clavicle (clavicular head) & Anterior surface of the sternum and rib cartilages 1-6 (Sternocostal head) & Anterior layer of the rectus sheath (abdominal head)
Insertion: The crest of the greater tubercle of the humerus
Function: Adduction and internal rotation of the humerus & anterior/inferior movement of the scapula
Innervation: Medial and lateral pectoral nerves
