McRobert’s maneuver
Hyperflexion of the maternal hips onto the maternal abdomen and/or suprapubic pressure
This straightens the sacrum relative to the lumbar spine and rotates the symphysis pubis anteriorly towards the maternal head

Erb palsy: arm hangs by the side internally rotated
Brachial plexus injury of C5-C6 nerve roots due to downward traction of the anterior shoulder
Weakness of the deltoid and infraspinatus muscles, as well as the flexor muscles of the forearm

- Prior shoulder dystocia.
- Fetal macrosomia.
- Maternal gestational diabetes.
