What is TUBS?
1) Trauma (result of dislocation)
2) Unilateral (most often)
3) Bankart lesion (lateral tear results from the dislocation)
4) Surgery = most often indicated (due to 90% recurrence)
What is AMBRI?
1) Atraumatic (no dislocation)
2) Multidirectional (ant, inf, post)
3) Bilateral (1 side often worse)
4) Responds to Rehab
5) Inferior capsular shift may help
What is a SLAP lesion?
Tear of Superior Labrum (biceps anchor) from Ant to Post
What is Sprengel’s deformity?
Small (hypoplastic) undescended scapula; omovertebral bone connects C-spine (spinous process) to scapula
What is Sprengel’s deformity assoc with?
Klippel-Feil syndrome, scoliosis, kidney dz
Medial scapular winging?
Serratus anterior weakness secondary to long thoracic n palsy
Lateral scapular winging?
Trapezius weakness secondary to spinal accessory palsy
