What is beach nourishment?
pumping of sand from off shore to on shore

a boundary where land meets the water

It moves because water and and storms
What is relative sea level?
the average sea level in one specific area
What is absolute sea level?
the average sea level all across the earth
What causes changes in absolute sea level?
ice melts = water rises
ice forms = water lowers
What are waves?
caused by wind except for tsunamis
What are tides?
the gravitational pull from the moon
How does a wave travel and break?
the longer the wavelength the higher it is when it hits the shore

waves come in at an angle and this moves sand
