the physical, emotional, social and mental wellbeing of individuals
access to medical care, a nutrious diet, exercise, and mental health supports is essential for maintaining good health, poor health can affect an individuals ability to participate in social and economic activites
what does education mean
access to learning opportunties that promote knowledges, skills and personal dveelopment
education enhances employmenr prospects, financial independance, and informed decision making, lack of education can limit opportunties and reduce overall wellbeing
what does sense of identity mean
an individuals understanding of who they are, based on their values culture and experiences
a strong sense of identity contributes to seld - confidence and belonging without it, individuals may struggle with seld eetem and social connections
what does employment mean
engaging in paid work to earn income and contribute to society
employmen provides financial stability, self esteem and social connections, unemployment can lead to economic hardship, stress and social isolation
what does adequate standard of living mean
refers to having access to basic necessities such as food, clothing, shelter
ensures individuals and families can meet their daily needs, without it, other areas of wellbeing may be compromised

most individuals and families rely on both informal and formal support networks when needing to access resources
informal support systems -
are not registered organistaions and generally include families, friends etc
formal support systems -
consist of goverment agencies or community organistaions such as childcare facilities and community centres
