What is Levante?
A wind that comes from the east and originates in the Sierra desert. It is very hot and dry with around 30% humidity
What is Poniente?
A wind that comes from the west, from the Atlantic Ocean and is very cool and humid. Cools the environment and reaches humidity levels as higher as 95%
What is tejón?
Sub-variety of Albariza that is almost pure limestone, with 80% active limestone usually located in deep soil
What is barajuelas albariza?
sub-variety of Albariza with an elevated degree of purity, and high concentration of diatoms, facilitating root development
What is Tosca cerrada?
Sub-variety of Albariza with 60% limestone content
What is lentejuelas?
Sub-variety of albariza where limestone loams are mixed with clay and sand, with 50% active limestone

Where do you find barros soils?
In lower areas and riverbeds. Dad grayish-brown, fertile, but with poor moisture retention. About 60% and 80% clay and sand

Coastal areas, predominantly sand with clay and limestone (max 20% limestone). Dedicated almost entirely to production of muscatel de Alejandría
