What is a Restricted (SA) report?
Does not trigger an investigation. Healthcare treatment, assistance from SARC+VA and disclosure to specific people (SARC, VA)
What is an Unrestricted (SA) Report
Triggers an investigation, command notification, healthcare treatment and assignment of a SARC and VA. A commander must immediately start an investigation.
What is a Anonymous (SH) report?
The person reporting is not required to show PII.
What is a Formal (SH) Report?
In writing, done within 60 calendar days, Recorded by the BDE SARC via a DA FORM 7746
What is an Informal (SH) report?
Not in writing - For issues that can be taken care of at the lowest level in the chain of command.

What is the difference between an unrestricted and restricted report?
A Unrestricted report starts a full investigation. A Restricted report doesn’t trigger an investigation and the victim remains anonymous.
