Extra-GI manifestations of IBD

A

Gall stones - bile salts reabsorbed in terminal ileum
- Losing bile salts
- Also fat malabsorption
PSC
Pyoderma gangrenosum = painful ulcers, indep of disease
Arthritis/arthralgia
Scleritis: pain + photophobia
*Terminal ileum complications favor Crohn’s obviously
