A

The 820th Base Defense Group was created to deploy to operations at airbases where the threats are considered “high.” The units are small, highly trained, mobile fighting force and are based in Moody AFB, Georgia.

What is the Phoenix Raven Program?

A

Ravens provide close-in security for aircraft where security is unknown or additional security is required. They advise on FP measures and conduct airfield assessments. SF Personnel deploy as teams of two or six and attend the three-week training course is conducted at the AF Expeditionary Center at JB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ.

A
