A
psychopathic personality features, sexually deviant arousal pattern or interests, history of sexual assault, substantial probability of committing a crime.

Post-prison supervision
A
for life if: 18 or older at time of crime rape and sodomy 1st degree under age 12 victim or incapable of consent due to mental defect, mental incapacitation, physical helplessness unlawful sexual penetration 1st degree

Presentence investigation
A
psychiatrist/psychologist examination if sexually violent dangerous offender and committed crime
completed within 30 days if in custody, 60 days if not in custody
May order extensions not exceeding 30 days

Right to independent exam
A
may retain own psychiatrist/psychologist or other expert
expert must get access to records, defendant

Resentence hearing
A
no sooner than 10 years after sentenced to terminate post-prison supervision
court can order examination
