Primary Sex Characteristics of male
penis, testes or testicles, scrotum, and prostate gland
Primary Sex Characteristics of female
Female: vagina, uterus, ovaries.
Secondary Sex Characteristics of male
testicular growth, sperm production, appearance of facial, pubic, and other body hair, and deepening of voice.
Hormones
Male:
for 5 weeks of pregnancy, gonads release testosterone to develop male organ.
For puberty, testosterone and other androgens stimulate the development of primary and secondary characteristics and increases sex drives.
Secondary Sex Characteristics of female
enlargement of breasts, onset of menstruation, widening of the hips, enlargement of buttocks, and growth of pubic hair.
Menstruation at around 10 to 12 years old.

Progesterone helps the growth of female reproductive organs and prepares the uterus for pregnancy.

Clitoris swells, the lips of the vagina open and its inside become wet in preparation for sexual intercourse.
Excitement phase:
The penis becomes more erect, the circumference of its head increases, and few drops of fluid are released.
Plateau phase:
Outer part of the vagina swells with the surge of increased amount of blood to that area, while clitoris retracts under the clitoral hood but remains highly sensitive. The outer lips of the vagina become reddish in color.

Can happen multiple times. female
Erection is lost, testes decreases in size, and the skin of scrotum thins again.
The clitoris, and the vagina return to their normal state.
