Explain what happens in stage 1-2.

A

Ovulation- Egg is released from the ovary into the fallopian tube.
Ejaculation- Sperm is released into the vagina and goes towards the fallopian tube.
Stage 2:
Fertilisation- The sperm meets the egg in the fallopian tube. It penetrates the egg and the sperm nucleus fuses with the egg’s nucleus. The result is called a zygote.

A

Cell division- Zygote divides till it becomes a ball of cells. It si now called an embryo.It begins to move towards the uterus.
Stage 4:
Implantation- The embryo sinks into the uterus lining. Here it develops a placenta and becomes a foetus.
