What is the process of reproduction in plants

A
  • pollen is produced in the anther.
  • the pollen is deposited on the stigma. This is transfer of pollen is known as
  • the pollen grain develops in to a long tube called the pollen tube.
  • this tube grows down through the style to the ovary and into the egg.
  • in the ovary, the egg is inside s structure known as ovule. The male gamete passes down the pollen tube to join the female gamete in the ovule
