What is the process of reproduction in plants
- pollen is produced in the anther.
- the pollen is deposited on the stigma. This is transfer of pollen is known as
- the pollen grain develops in to a long tube called the pollen tube.
- this tube grows down through the style to the ovary and into the egg.
- in the ovary, the egg is inside s structure known as ovule. The male gamete passes down the pollen tube to join the female gamete in the ovule
