A
Connects the ovary to the uterus. It is also lined with cilia so it can transfer the zygote to the uterus. Fertilisation occurs here.

A
About the size of a pear when empty. It is the home for the developing baby.

Cervix
A
The passageway between the vagina and the uterus. During child birth this dilates to allow the baby to exit the uterus.

Vagina
A
Elastic tube that connects the uterus to the outside world, and through which semen enters the female reproductive system. The baby passes through this during birth.
