A commitment to be in a sexual relationship with a person to the exclusion to others – a monogamous relationship. The opposite of an open relationship

“If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman.. they are to be put to death”
Principle of liberty (Mill)
The only reason for interfering with another’s liberty is to protect from physical harm, if we intervene we are determining what is best for them
Utilitarianism on sexual ethics
Pleasure in sex is a good thing, so shared pleasure can build happiness in a relationship, though sex is a lower pleasure to Mill
