WA believed that they were superior to NA and supposed to civilise the continent
Who was the Donner Party?
In 1846 they headed to California but took a short cut and ended up in deep snow, less than 50/87 survived though eating they dead ones

Took around 5 months

A religion started by Joseph Smith who published the book of Mormons in 1830
What does the book of Mormons claim
That Jesus had visited America and that the Native Americans were descended from the lost tribes of Israel

He was killed in jail by a mob, the Mormons was then taken over by Brigham Young
