What are the contraindications of Lidocaine?
Bradycardia
Heartblocks
Adam’s-Stoke Syndrome
What are the side effects/ notes of Lidocaine?
Numbness, light-headedness, blurred vision, hypotension
Cut MAX dose by 50% for pts >70yrs old or with hepatic/ renal failure.
Toxicity may cause seizures.
What is the class of Atropine?
Para-sympatholytic
What is the action of Atropine?
Enhance sinus automaticity.
Speeds AV conduction.
What is Atropine used for?
1st line bradycardia, heart-blocks.
DOC organophosphate poisoning.
What is the dose of Atropine?
0.5mg RAPID (IV, IO, ET)
MAX 3.0mg
What are the contraindications of Atropine?
Tachycardia
Narrow Angle Glaucoma
What are the side effects/notes of Atropine?
Tachycardia, Dysrhythmia.
Push too slow/ too small of quantity will cause reflex bradycardia.

Adenocard

Anti-dysrhythmic

Interrupts re-entry pathways.
Slows AV conduction.
