Name the safety guidelines for a safe class environment?
A
- Instructors should remove users who are a danger to
themselves or others - Facility should provide a clock + target heart rate or
perceived exertion chart and instruct users in self-
monitoring - User-to-instructor should not exceed 50-to-1. If more
than 50-to-1, a 2nd instructor should be added - No food or drink allowed, except for water in a
closed container - Users should warm-up before entering class late
- Users should wear footwear appropriate to the
activity - GEI’s should inform users of movement that expose
them to undue risk of injury - GEI’s should include a cool-down at the end of every
class and encourage users to start bringing their HR
down about 5 mins before they need to leave
