Ans:
π Make observations to determine what was happening before and during the accident.
π Make careful notes of your observations.
π Identify and record the names of drivers, injured party and witnesses.
π Obtain statements from them so you can better understand what happened.
π Decide as best as you can from your observations and witnesses what caused the accident.

Q6. List the general procedures for completing Traffic Accident Reports
Ans:
π An immediate traffic entry to be made in the Station Accident Register
π Complete the top section of the accident report, tear along the perforated line and forward to Director Traffic.
π In the event of a Police or fatal accident, a telex should be dispatched immediately to the Director Traffic.
π The main accident report is to be completed and forwarded as possible.
π The completed accident report submitted to OIC Traffic Section, who will forward the first page (original) to Director Traffic and place the second page (copy) on the Station Accident File.
π Each accident report can deal with two vehicles.
π Care must be taken when completing the accident report.
