Ans: 👉 The driver of the motor vehicle in question will advice his senior officers and wait at the scene for the arrival of a Commissioned Officer.
👉 Commissioned officers will investigate all accidents involving Police vehicles, and in addition to the accident report will submit a full report if all circumstances to the Provincial Police Commander within one week of the accident

👉 The value of damage to any other vehicle and property.
👉 The loss of life or injury
👉 Any attachments of blame to the driver of the Police vehicle.
👉 Any criminal, Traffic or Disciplinary offence committed by the driver of the Police vehicle

Ans: Ensure that the Transport officer of the Plant and Transport Authority (PTA) is advised immediately of the accident involving Police vehicle in addition to form 2.

Answer 4

Ans: The member who was liable for the accident will be summoned by the PTA order that the cost of repairs be recovered. If he is found guilty of accidents by negligence, drunken driving, speeding or any other charge, then a letter of demand maybe sent to that officer regarding necessary repair
