Provides the status of your server tasks and displays any error that might have occured
What are the different server task statuses that you might see displayed in the server task log?
Waiting -Server task is waiting for another task to finish
In Progress - Server task has started, but not finished
Paused - A user has paused the server task
Stopped - A user stopped the server task
Failed - The server task started, but did not finish successfully
Completed - The server task finished successfully
Pending Termination - A user requested that the server task end
Ended - A user closed the server task manually before it finished
What is the best practice regarding maintenance of the server task log?
Periodically remove old server task entries form the Server Task Log to improve database performance
What are the two ways that you can purge the server task log?
Manually from the server task log page itself, and automatically by configuring a server task with “Purge Server Task Log” as the action
What is cron syntax?
A syntax for scheduling that is made up of 6 or 7 fields. It is advantageous in that it allows for the creation of very specific schedules such as the 3rd friday in every other month
What are Client Tasks (in ePO)?
A way to schedule and automate endpoints tasks in your network. (Endpoint tasks being that tasks that are carried out by your endpoint security products)
How does the Client Task Catalog work?
Allows you to create client task objects you can reuse to help manage systems in your network.
It applies the concept of logical objects to ePO client tasks, allowing you to create Client Task Objects for various purposes without the need to assign them immediately
T/F: Client Task Assignments function the same as Policy Assignments in the System Tree in regards to inheritance?

How does sharing work in regards to client task objects?
Client Task Objects can be shared across multiple registered ePO servers in your environment
You can leverage a “Share Client Task” server task to run on a schedule, making it so that any changes that are made to the source tasks that are being shared are updated each time it runs.
