What is included in sepsis 6?
A
Take: Cultures (blood etc) x3 over an hour Lactate Urine output Give: O2 IV AB (after bloods) IV fluid (1x 500ml bolus Hartmanns/saline over 15 mins)

How should you manage a septic patient from hours 2-6?
A
Give 30ml/kg fluid over 3 hours
Aim for MAP>65
Aim for urine output >0,5ml/kg/h

How do you tell if a septic patient is deteriorating?
A
New confusion, increased RR, decreased BP
All worse from baseline.
