Sepsis signs (cap refill, skin temp, pulse etc)
Look for infection sources
Investigations to find source (septic screen) and to look for complications / organ dysfunction: bloods and VBG, blood cultures, glucose, urine dip and culture, CXR etc

Sepsis 6 - within 1 hour
A
3 in:
Oxygen
Fluids (0.9% saline or Hartmann’s, 20-2030 ml/kg quickly e.g. over 30-60 mins)
ABx - hospital protocol, target source of infection if obvious, broad-spectrum if unclear
3 out:
Blood cultures
Lactate and Hb (lactate correlates with severity < 2 = mild, 2-4 = mod, > 4 = severe)
