Q

what is kaplan and wheeler saying?

A

escalation cycle demonstrates the point a person goes through when they are in crisis, its important to know where your patient is to be able to assess their risk. (the below baseline behaviour is when our adrenaline and energy drops. this is a high risk area for crisis because by this point support systems may have left as they think its all fine and settled, and without the support suddenly there could be crisis)
