A condition of mental disturbance, typically accompanied by negative affect.

A mental state derived from full immersion, focus, involvement and success in an activity.

Learned Helplessness
Helplessness is a cognitive, affective, behavioural state characterised by pessimism, passivity, negative affect and demotivation.
Learned helpness can be a result of an expectation of failure, uncontrollability, unpredictability in past events.
Life satisfaction
A measure of subjective well-being.
Optimism
A positive affective state, or disposition, that good things will happen, regardless of ability.
Pessimism
A negative affective state, or disposition, that bad things will happen, regardless of ability.
