Imaging
- Hyperintensity to one cerebral hemisphere
Treatment
- Glucocorticoids
- IVIG
- Plasmapheresis
- Hemispherectomy for seizures

- Viral infection (herpes) or autoimmune (paraneoplsatic vs. non-paraneoplastic)
Clinical features
- Memory loss, personality changes, psychiatric symptoms, involuntary movements, seizures
Imaging
- Hyperintense hippocampi
Treatment
- Steroids
- Plasmapheresis
- Removal of tumor
