Q

what is sand abrasion?

A

sand is relatively heavy so rarely carried by the wind in suspension.. so abrasion only occurs up to a height of 1m. sand abrasion has a limited effect on rocky coastlines

Q

why is attrition effective in wind?

A

no film of water around sand particles they crash into each other and break into smaller pieces

Q

when will deposition happen?
