1) use a diamond bur to section the ceramic crown and it can be removed from the tooth
2) for metal, use a carbide bur or transmetal bur
- use light pressure at max speed at max water, do not make sparks

1) make sure nothing is connecting the two pieces of crown
2) some preps are subg
3) go buccal to the lingual, you might have to go cervical to the margin on both before it comes off
4) use crown spreader to gently rotate
5) whatever you have left, you section again and repear
6) if impossible, drill it away
