A material that contains free electrons

A material that does not contain free electrons

The path that a positive test charge will take when placed in an electric field

the force per unit charge

the work done moving a charge from infinity to a point

Force is proportional to product of charges and inversely proportional to the distance between them
What does a capacitor do?
A device used to store charge
What is capacitance?
The charge stored per unit voltage
What is the circuit symbol for a capacitor?
Two parallel plates
What is the equation for the energy stored in a capacitor?
E = 1/2QV
Explain how cloud and earth act like a capacitor?
Cloud is one plate, spot over earth is other plate cloud is negatively charged
