What is centrifuging?
The process by which you separate the formed elements (cells) and the plasma/serum (liquid portion) of the blood
If the sample you are centrifuging has been allowed to clot, what is the fluid portion at the top called?
Serum (no clotting agents remain)
What does a tachometer do?
Will ensure that the manufacturer’s centrifuge spins (measures) at recommended RPMs or rotations per minute
What is the main thing to understand in regard to centrifuging?
Is making sure the sample is balanced in the machine

YES

Annual
