What is the standard missed approach for Runway 05?
Climb SA to NDB TD to 2,500ft on QNH to enter the hold at 2,500ft or as directed by ATC
What is the standard missed approach for Runway 23?
Climb SA to 1,000ft or I-TD DME 3m outbound which ever is later. Then turn right to return the the NDB TD to enter the hold at 2,500ft QNH or as directed by ATC
What is the LCIS?
Landing Clearance Indicator System
What is the LCIS used for?
To assist in coordination between APR and ADI for aircraft carrying out training approaches or SRA.
Non voice communication
What do the colours mean for the LCIS?
Blue- Request (APR to ADI)
Green- cleared to land or low Approach
Amber- continue Approach
Red- go around
Regarding the LCIS, what should the ADI ATCO do in the situation of a vehicle or aircraft on runway and the aircraft on the final is for a low approach?
Go around not below 400ft AGL passed via the intercom
Once read back and correct then ADI ATCO can give a green button
