A

15th of December Buller tried to cross the Tugela River to reach Ladysmith and was met with strong resistance. They had no proper maps. Artiary was accidentally put in rifle range leading to many deaths.one of the deaths was the son of Field Marshal Lord Roberts.

Roberts policy stoped food going to the Gurrillas.The British systemically removing and destroying food and livestock, amuntions and anything else of use to an enemy.

The homeless produced were moved to concentration camps . Poor food and sanatoin killed thousands 35 camps with 110,000 people. Nearly 28,000 people died
