chronic inflam skin condition → dermatitis in sebaceous gland-rich areas eg nasolabial folds

red / white / yellow scaly lesions
nasolabial folds, brows, chest, scalp +- other haired areas, flexural folds
itchy

clinical diagnosis +- swabs if infected (staph aureus)
education
anti-dandruff shampoo with antifungal (ketoconazole) or keratolytic (salicylic acid)
intermittent use mild topical steroid
