SCP
Persons requiring special conditions, assistance and/or devices shall be considered as SCP’s
- Require special (individual) briefing and seating allocation
Types of SCP
- PRM: persons with reduced mobility
- Infants and unaccompanied children (latter not allowed on FR flights)
- Deportees, inadmissible PAX, prisoners in custody
Safety limit
Total number of SCP’s shall not exceed 50% of the ABP’s on that flight. (See additional limitations)
SCP - Seating limits
Not allowed to occupy direct access seat (1ABC, 16, 17)
Accompanying passenger
Should be seated next to SCP
BDGR
Passenger travelling with guide/assistance dog, and who, regardless of their disability, requires assistance through airport and/or to board or disembark, or to move around the cabin
BLDP
Blind/Vision Impaired Passenger, who does not require assistance to board or disembark, or to move around the cabin, travelling alone or accompanied by by an ABP
BLND
Blind/Vision Impaired Passenger, who requires assistance to board or disembark, or to move around the cabin (e.g. assisted to seat), travelling alone or accompanied by an ABP
DEAF
Deaf or hard of hearing, able to fully understand an onboard safety demo and safety card, and able to board, disembark and move around the cabin without assistance
DEPA
(Assisted) Escorted Deportee or Escorted Prisoner in custody
DEPU
(Unassisted) Deportee
DPNA
Disabled passenger with cognitive or non-visible disability requiring assistance.
INAD
Inadmissible passenger
INFS
Infant
- Safety limit: 35 (18 extension belts available)
-Seating: NOT 2ABC, 15-18
OXYG
Passenger who requires pre-booked in-flight therapeutic oxygen
- Safety limit: 1
PETC
Passenger travelling with guide/assistance dog, regardless of their disability, who is able to board, disembark and move around the cabin without assistance
- Safety limit: 4
POST
Passenger using an approved Postural Support Aid
- Safety limit: 2
- Allowed only in last row, window seat
Briefing
- Require a special briefing
PAX with leg injuries
Require a complete row segment to enable the passenger to elevate the leg. Arm rests must be raised and the injured leg placed resting across the seats.
Pregnancy
- Until 28 weeks: no restrictions
- After 28 weeks: Fit to fly form required
- Single: allowed till week 36
- Twin/triplets (+): allowed till week 32
INAD/Deportee restrictions
- Pre boarding, disembark last
- If possible, seated at AFT
- Handcuffs/restraint while onboard a/c
- No direct access seats
- No alcohol
- Documentation kept in Flight Deck
Medical conditions - notice required
- Cast above knee
- Therapeutic oxygen
