Cobb angle between 20-29 in premenarchal girl or boy between 12 and 14, progression of >5% in any pt, cobb angle >30 degrees
what are some good exercises for individuals suffering from scoliosis?
stretching, isometric exercise, yoga, pilates, tai chi, and swimming
who is most likely to progress?
females, those with cobb angles 20-29 degrees, double/triple curves more likely to progress, pts younger than 12 3x more likely
what is the intent of bracing?
to prevent progression
