Ecosystem
A community of interacting organisms and abiotic factors
Species
A group of organisms that are similar.
Community
A group of all living things in an place.
Habitat
A natural home or environment which a plant,animal,or organisms live in.
Environment
The surroundings or conditions in which a plant,animal,or organism lives in or interacts.
Abiotic
is something that does not live.
Biotic
Something that is alive or was alive.
Biome
Biomes are regions of the world with similar climates,and plants
Taiga
The Taiga is the worlds largest biome
Deciduous forest
The deciduous forest has four seasons and is very cold
Rainforest
The rain forest is the closest biome to the equator
Grasslands
The grasslands is very grassy and has lots of different types of grass
Desert
The desert covers about 1/5 of the world!!

The tundra is the coldest biome on earth

The area in which one organism occupies
Adaptation
When the animals surroundings change so they have to get used to being in a hot,cold,dry,environment

A organism that eats only died things
Producer
A organism that makes its own food
Consumer
A organism that eats producers or other consumers
Herbivore
An animal that only eats plants.
Carnivores
Animals that only eat meat.
Omnivores
Animals that both eat plants and meat
Food web
a group of connected food chains
Food chain
A series of organisms in their feeding grounds in which the bigger organisms eat the other/smaller organisms.
10% rule
Every time that an organism eats an other organism 90% of its energy gets absorbed into its bones and fat so only 10% of the energy gets transferred to the other organism.
Energy pyramid
An energy pyramid is to show how much energy gets transferred from one organism to the next.
