A Stimulus is a event or thing that invokes an organism.

17
Q

What is Internal?

A

Internal is the insides of something.

18
Q

What is External?

A

External is the outer part of something.

19
Q

What happens in photosynthesis?

A

Photosynthesis is when plants absorb light and convert it into energy.

20
Q

What is the formula in photosynthesis?

A

The formula for photosynthesis is that the plant turns carbon dioxide into glucose and oxygen.

21
Q

Where does photosynthesis occur?

A

It takes place in plant cells called chloroplast.

22
Q

Why does photosynthesis occur?

A

It takes place because it gives the plant a unlimited energy source.

23
Q

What is internal stimuli?

A

When you feel something inside of you, like being hungry.

24
Q

What is external stimuli?

A

When you feel something outside of you, like getting hit by the sun’s rays.

25
What are abiotic factors?
They are non-living organisms.
26
What are biotic factors?
They are living organisms.
27
What is the Food Chain? How does it work?
It is when a living organism eats a living or non-living organism. It works by one living thing eating a living or non-living thing.
28
What are Consumers?
Consumers are living things that eat something else.
29
What are Producers?
Producers make their own food.
30
Bonus: What are the layers of the Earth?
The Crust, Mantle, Inner Core and Outer Core.
31
What are the different types of waves on the Electromagnetic Spectrum?
They are radio, microwave, infrared, visible, ultraviolet, X-ray, and Gamma waves.
32
What is Reflection?
The bouncing of light off an object.
33
What is Refraction?
The bouncing of energy off an object.
34
How do waves travel? What causes waves? What can light travel through? What can sound waves travel through?
By vibrating the atmosphere. Vibrations cause waves. Light can travel through clear and translucent objects. Sound can travel through everything except a vacuum.
35
How does the medium that a wave travels through affect the wave?
By the density of the object.
