What was Auschwitz?
Auschwitz was a concentration camp in Poland. It made most of the killings of Jews from concentration camps. It had 3 main parts, A prison camp, a execution camp, and a slave-labor camp.
What was Anti-semitism?
Anti-semitism was the hating of Jews.
What was Kristallnacht?
Kristallnacht was when the Nazis came and took away the Jews from their homes. The Nazis broke all of the glass. When night came, all of the broken glass looked like crystals, so they called it crystal night.

The Nazi Regime was the Killing of the innocent Jews during WWII.
Who was Adolf Hitler?
Adolf Hitler was the leader of Nazi Germany. He was first a politician, but then became the ruler of Nazi Germany.

Who were the Jackboots?
The Jackboots were the Nazi soldiers. They got the name “Jackboots” because they had big, black, shiny boots.

Natalie is Moose’s sister. She has mental retardation. She need help to get into a certain school, the Ester P. Marinoff School. Moose tries to help get her into the school, but he does’t do it right away. He writes a letter to Al Capone and asks him if he can help Natalie.

The Warden was in-charge of Alcatraz. He had a daughter, Piper. He lives in a mansion over watching Alcatraz. He gets very mad if something (or someone) is out of order.

Onion is a prisoner on Alcatraz. He helps Moose get the baseball he wanted that was played with the prisoners. Onion sat and talked with Natalie while Moose was looking for a baseball.
