what is the difference between a food web and food chain
A food web, unlike a food chain, shows a more accurate representation of the transfer of energy in an ecosystem when one organism eats another. a food chain is a single line of energy while a web shows a more accurate representation on a bigger scale. A food web shows the overlap of organisms who may be within different consumer levels.
order of consumers
- producer
- primary consumer
- secondary consumer
- tertiary consumer
- Quaternary consumer
what does abiotic mean
