what was the s plan
A
it was the german war plan created by Alfred Von Schlieffen. it was created in 1905. the aim was that the germans would be able to fihht the enemies f and r at the same time.

why did it fail
A
the plan was fundamentally flawed and outdated. it also depended on the element of surprise and the russian mobilised a lot quicker than the germans had planned. they also thought b wouldn’t get involved but they did holding up their army in belgium.
