how does the DSM-5 and ICD-10 differ in their classification of schizophrenia?
in the DSM-5 system one of the positive symptoms must be present for diagnosis whereas two or more negative symptoms are sufficient under ICD
what did both DSM-5 and ICD-10 do?
dropped subtypes of schizophrenia because they tended to be inconsistent
what are positive symptoms?
additional experiences beyond those of ordinary existence
